Flagpoles in two pieces
FBS INDUSTRIES has developed and patented a method of splicing flagpoles.
This method makes it possible to transport flagpoles with a length of
30-70 ft. We can of course, split all lengths, to cut the transport costs.
The FBS INDUSTRIES method
of splicing is very precise and the strength of the flagpole is retained.

10 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
FBS INDUSTRIES, Inc. warrants that its fiberglass flagpoles will be
free from defects in materials and workmanship, under normal use,
proper installation, and responsible care for a period of ten years
from date of first shipment to the original owner.
FBS INDUSTRIES, Inc. further warrants that during use by the
original owner after proper installation and responsible use, all
residential and commercial flagpole shafts will withstand wind gusts
up to 120 miles per hour, unflagged.
THIS WARRANTY IS EXPRESSLY MADE IN LIEU OF ANY AND ALL WARRANTIES
EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING THE WARRANTIES OR MERCHANTABILITY
AND FITNESS.
The exclusive remedy of the Buyer in the event that any of the goods
do not conform in accordance with the above warranty, shall be
limited to replacement or repair of the item or parts claimed to be
defective. All goods claimed to be defective must be shipped to FBS
INDUSTRIES, Inc. Such goods will be returned, repaired or replaced
within a reasonable time period and this shall constitute a complete
discharge of the seller of any and all liabilities or damage for
such goods.
FBS INDUSTRIES, Inc. shall not be responsible for removal,
installation, shipping costs, or any incidental or consequential
costs. FBS INDUSTRIES, Inc. acceptance of the goods, so shipped,
shall not be deemed an admission the goods are defective.
In the event that any of the goods are found to be defective, in
addition to waiving its rights to consequential or incidental
damages, the Buyer expressly waives all rights to any and all
damages, what so ever. |

Production Process |
To understand
our manufacturing process, envision a metal tube or pipe cut in half
length-wise and then hinged back together. This is the steel mold. Instead
of wrapping the fiberglass around a mandrel like other manufacturers and
waiting for it to dry, we wrap the fiberglass and polyester around a rubber
inflatable bladder and then place it inside the steel mold which is coated
internally with gel-coat.
The bladder is then inflated to high pressure inside the mold. All the air
and excess material is forced to the outside and exits through this vent
line. This creates the small mold mark you will see. Curing is continued at
full pressure and the resulting flagpole is stronger, denser, lighter and
longer lasting. |

it...these are commercial grade flagpoles. The only flagpole World Wide that
actually has a warranty - a written Ten year warranty. You will not find a
warranty anywhere else. IF you were to buy thee most expensive Aluminum or Steel
flagpole you would NEVER EVER get close thee same quality as you will with this
fiberglass flagpole. If you were to find a comparable Aluminum or Steel pole it
WILL run you 4 times as much as FIBERGLASS. Even if you were lucky to buy it
wholesale. These fiberglass poles are 10,000psi times stronger than thee most
expensive Steel or Aluminum poles. |

Strength
Utilization of a specially designed fiberglass roving combined with high quality
resins results in an axial strength exceeding 40,000 PSI plus maximized rigidity. Style
VF25C and larger poles withstand 120 MPH winds un-flagged.
Appearance
The classical taper is pleasing to the eye and adds strength; no other
taper is as graceful. The high gloss modified polyester finish, totally bonded with the
resin of the pole,
results in a no chip, no peel, smooth finished surface. It resists scratching and
soiling and is virtually maintenance fee.
Non-Conductive
Since fiberglass is non-conductive, it does not require a lightning rod, thus
installation is
easier and costs less.
Non-Corrosive, Non-Rusting
Fiberglass does not corrode nor rust, even near salt water.
Color Options
White is the finish most frequently chosen; it simulates the white painted wood
pole of
past years but has none of the disadvantages. You may order a color of your
choice
including the popular bronze, at a nominal additional cost.

The cool thing about hinge base technology
is...if your rope breaks with a traditional upright flagpole you have
have to get a really tall ladder and a ton of courage or pay a bucket
truck with operator (avg. $90.00 - five minutes of work) to restring
your pole.
With a hinged base pole you just unscrew the three bolts at the base -
with a ratchet - (as seen below) and your pole tilts all the way to the
ground enabling one person to make repairs in a few short minutes.
Very good idea for poles 25ft and
taller.

(means the rope is located on the inside of the pole and can only be

The standard external system has the halyard outside the flagpole
and ties to a cleat. The internal Halyard System uses a special
designed winch of high tensile steel, stainless rollers and brass
bushings mounted inside the pole to raise and lower the flag. No
exposed halyard to slap or be exposed to the elements. An
attractive nylon covered counterweight is provided for attachment to the
flag to keep it in proper position.
