Sentry
flagpoles offer the same quality and strength as the Continental flagpoles
with the added feature of an internal halyard system. The internal halyard
system
provides added security for the flag and reduces halyard noise.
The Sentry flagpole uses a standard halyard and cam cleat mounted inside the
flagpole shaft. The simple to use cam cleat mechanism require no maintenance
and
is accessed by a locking cast aluminum door assembly. That door assembly is
secured by 18-20 stainless steel allen head screws. Halyard noise is
eliminated
since only the flag, snap hooks, counterweight and retainer ring are exposed.
Standard fittings include a stationary cast aluminum truck on 5" shafts or a
revolving cast aluminum truck assembly on 6" and 7" shafts; neoprene covered
counterweight; beaded retainer ring; nickel plated snap hooks; gold anodized
aluminum finial ball and heavy gauge spun aluminum flash collar. The ground
set
foundation sleeve is made of hot-dipped galvanized corrugated steel with
self-centering wedges and an integrated grounding rod. Many optional fittings
are
available to customize the Sentry Flagpole. See Accessories for optional
fittings.
The standard shaft finish is a deep luster polished finish. Other
architectural
finishes are available to include, clear anodized, duranodic bronze or black,
or
powder-coat paint finishes. |

Small
business, apartment complexes, model homes and private residences are
prime locations for the Estate tapered aluminum flagpole. Estate flagpoles are
manufactured from the same high quality materials, and to the same standards,
as the architecturally designed Continental Flagpoles. Estate flagpoles are
especially striking when installed in groups.
Standard fittings include a gold anodized aluminum
finial ball; cast aluminum
stationary single halyard truck; limited stretch braided polypropylene
halyard; cast nylon snap hooks and 6" cast aluminum cleat. A PVC ground set
foundation sleeve and complete installation instructions are included. Many
optional fittings are available. See Accessories.
Estate flagpoles are polished to a deep luster
finish. All standard alternative
finishes are available. Estate flagpoles are available for vertical and
outrigger wall mount applications. See the Wall Mount section. |

As the
standard of the industry, FBS's Continental external halyard flagpoles offer a
wide range of exposed heights, shaft strength, and standard finishes. Exposed
heights range from 20' to 80'. All 30' and 35' shafts are offered in wither a
once piece or two piece configuration to minimize shipping costs. Multiple
piece shaft sets are pre-fitted at the factory and use a self-aligning
internal sleeve.
All FBS Continental shafts made from seamless 6063-T6 high strength aluminum
and are designed to meet the most exacting architecture standards. Many shafts
are available with a heavy cast aluminum shoe-base mount for surface mounting
applications. Many shafts are available with a heavy duty wall thickness for
special applications.
Standard fittings for the Continental line include a revolving cast aluminum
single halyard truck; a limited stretch braided polypropylene halyard; nickel
plated snap hooks; 9" cast aluminum cleat; heavy gauge spun aluminum flash
collar and a gold anodized, aluminum finial ball. Flagpoles with a 10" or 12"
butt diameter are fitted with a heavy duty, sealed bearing revolving truck and
stainless steel snap hooks. The ground set foundation sleeve is made of
hot-dipped galvanized corrugated steel with self-centering wedges and an
integrated grounding rod. Many
optional fittings are available to customize the Continental Flagpole. See
Accessories for optional fittings.
The standard shaft finish is a deep luster
polished finish. Other architectural finishes are available to include, clear
anodized, duranodic bronze or black, or powder-coat paint finishes. |

FBS's
Independence flagpoles offer the same quality and strength as the
Continental flagpoles with the added feature of an internal halyard system.
The
internal halyard system limits access to the flag and reduces halyard noise.
The heart of the Independence internal halyard system is a gearless, direct
drive,
stainless steel winch mounted inside the shaft. Access to the winch is through
a
locked flush mounted cast aluminum door. A thick cast aluminum reinforcement
frame is welded inside the door opening giving additional strength in this
area of
the flagpole shaft. The patented winch features an automatic brake allowing
the
flag to be set an any height. The winch is mounted on a FBS exclusive,
patented, rotating winch plate. This allows easy access for both operation and
for
routine maintenance.
Standard fittings include a heavy stainless steel aircraft cable halyard and
pre-sized
flag arrangement; revolving cast aluminum truck assembly with sealed bearings;
neoprene covered counterweight; beaded retainer ring; nickel plated snap
hooks;
gold anodized aluminum finial ball and heavy gauge spun aluminum flash collar.
The ground set foundation sleeve is made of hot-dipped galvanized corrugated
steel
with self-centering wedges and an integrated grounding rod. Many optional
fittings
are available to customize the Independence Flagpole. See Accessories for
optional
fittings.
The standard shaft finish is a deep luster polished finish. Other
architectural
finishes are available to include, clear anodized, duranodic bronze or black,
or
powder-coat paint finishes. |
